Can you provide music for the ceremony as well as the reception?
Yes, we frequently supply ceremonial music; all you have to do is schedule us to play for that time. We can also provide sound equipment for the participants as well. We suggest scheduling us to start 15 minutes before the ceremony time. In addition, there is a small fee if the sound system needs relocation to another venue.
Can you provide music if the ceremony and/or cocktail hour is at a different room, floor, or location than the reception?
Yes, we can. We offer a second remote set-up as an option. The remote set-up consists of a completely separate full sound system. This option includes a pre-selected music mix for that particular segment of your event (i.e. cocktail hour or meal).
Will you be the DJ or will you be sending an employee or sub contractor?
You can meet and approve the DJ before your event. Experience brings knowledge of common problems to any situation. As in any business, everyone knows that good help is hard to find... That's one reason why we have elected to remain a small group of working "Pros without Egos". Once you describe your wants and needs, we simply "Paint Your Picture" the way you envision it to be! You deserve "Peace of Mind".... and with "No Surprises".
Do you advertise at my event?
No - Our presence at your event is sufficient. If someone asks, we will provide him or her with a card and ask him or her to call us on a date when we are not performing. If you choose to recognize us in your event program or announcements, that is fine. However, we will not bring up our name unless requested.

Don't you put up a large
L&A SoundCrew sign?
No. We do not even put up a small one. We believe that signage is inappropriate. Our business cards, music list books and request forms are all that is visible on our station. Unless requested by you, or other arrangements made, there is nothing that detracts from your event.
Do you provide a consultation service?
Yes. We will work together with you before the event designing an entertainment plan perfect for your event. We will then coordinate the flow of the event with your other event professionals to ensure that each detail goes smoothly and as planned with the correct music playing. You have the peace of mind to smile, have fun and enjoy your celebration. There is no additional charge for this service.
Do you cooperate with the other professionals to make the event go as smoothly as possible?
We not only work with you to plan your event but we also work closely with the other vendors as needed. We provide you with materials, planners and our knowledge to help you plan your event from start to finish. During our consultation with you, we go over the planner and discuss what type of festivities you would like and when you would like them to happen. We co-ordinate the events festivities based on how you want YOUR special day to happen. If you would like we can provide your other event vendors with a copy of our festivity timeline so that they can be prepared for all of the festivities before they happen. The experience, professionalism and coordinated efforts of all your entertainment vendors is vital to the success of your event. Relax, you can enjoy your special day with us!!
